About the Author

Ann McGovern is a prize-winning author of 55 children’s books, including STONE SOUP. She has traveled to every continent and her scuba diving and travel adventures are the inspiration for many of her books. She has four children and three grandchildren. She lives in New York City. Nola Langner has illustrated over 30 picture books , six of them Ann’s books.
