Chuckles: Mild to Severe

As a trainer of substitute teachers, I was explaining the broken record technique. With this technique, you repeat the same words several times to the misbehaving child. Each time you say the words more firmly. This is done to get his/her attention and emphasize you mean exactly what you are saying. I casually mentioned that this technique can also be effective at home, with teenagers. From the back of the room came the comment, "Yes, and it works with husbands too!" The bumper sticker read, "PE4US." I couldn't decide if the driver was a physical education teacher or a urologist. Email message from a friend, "Today, I kept the kids tied up while I finished dusting. That reminds me, I'm out of duct tape." I couldn't decide if she was using duct tape on the kids or was dusting with it. The toilets in Germany can be surprising to tourists. As I sat down on the commode seat, I noticed it was wet and sticky. When nature's call was completed, I pushed the button and the seat started revolving. I quickly jumped up and reached for a seat belt. None was to be found. I really thought I'd lost my mind as I stood there watching the seat change shapes during revolution. I told the next man in line, "You'll need a seat belt for this experience!"
