About the Book
All Garrett Berryman has ever wanted to be is a professional boxer. After years of training, he finally wins a fight that matters. But when he steps out of his van after a night of celebrating, Garrett’s world is shattered in a flash of gunfire. After he is rendered unable to box ever again, Garrett spirals downward into a dark world fueled by addiction. When he finally pledges sobriety, Garrett thinks he has everything under control—until he receives an offer he cannot refuse. But when Garrett realizes he has placed his trust in the wrong person, he takes justice into his own hands, transforming into a determined vigilante who will stop at nothing to right what he feels are wrongs. While working as a handyman, Garrett declares war on bikers, the mob, and dirty cops, aided in his efforts by a female crime reporter and a homeless vet. Unfortunately, Garrett has no idea that his journey is about to lead him straight into heartache like never before. In this gripping tale, a self-proclaimed vigilante on a quest for justice takes on the dark elements in the world while attempting to make a difference after a life-changing event.
