About the Author
Pat Laster’s credits include Encyclopedia of Arkansas History and Culture, Arkansas Biography, and Calliope: A Writer’s Workshop by Mail. She trained at Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum’s writers’ retreats and with residencies at the Writer’s Colony at Dairy Hollow. She lives in Benton, Arkansas, with her adult grandson, whom she raised.
