Shy describes how she – a poor, naïve, Asian girl from a broken home – overcame her life’s challenges and the discrimination in the male-dominated music industry to thrive. From surviving a drive-by shooting and eluding midnight stalkers to being cheated on her paychecks, she shares her story and shows how she remained positive throughout her journey.

About the Author

DJ Shy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from the University of Southern California. Shy resides in Los Angeles where she currently deejays at various events.
