About the Book

Wayne McCoy has chosen 36 sermons from many different subjects and texts out of1800 sermons that he wrote and preached as a pastor in the Presbyterina Church USA. The sermons address ideas of universal human interest and contain many concrete illustrations to support and to enhance the points being made. The sermons are written in a form to be preached but they also read with clarity and ease.

About the Author

BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH The Rev. Wayne L. McCoy served as a pastor of Presbyterian churches for over 40 years. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and the University of Edinburgh where he earned his Ph.D. in Theology in 1956. While in Scotland he served as an itinerant preacher for the Church of Scoltand preaching over 90 times in the churches of Scotland. He held pastorates for long periods of time in Royal Oak, Michigan; Baltimore, MarylandL and Dayton, Ohio. In 2009 he published his first book: Wayne`s Journal, The Story of the Wayne L. McCoy Family 1774-2009. In his fourteen years of retirement from the pastorate, he continues to live in the Datyon area with his wife, Susan and enjoys a close relationship to six grown children and ten grandchildren.
