Boomer generation is the most prodigious in the history of discoveries and inventions that led to generation and garnering of great wealth. It is no secret. The down side to it is also the prolific consumption of fossil fuel either in making it possible or as a result of it in a reward. Energy is the fuel for activity. There is no more free ride in energy use than in food intake for survival. Food leads to waste, and so does energy in terms of waste heat from activity that needs disposal to make room for the next cycle to repeat. For the past two centuries and without evidence to back it, Earth was assumed to receive sunlight by day and by night just radiate out to space surplus heat to cool down. This simple but scientifically naive heat-in and heat-out model is unrealistic and proven categorically wrong in this book. An alternative storm model is proposed and amply demonstrated as its correct replacement, rendering the CO2 greenhouse gas (GHG) theory defunct. We have been blindsided for 186 years under a false CO2 theory dark shadow and it is time to emerge back into sunlight. 99.97% of CO2 hides 50 Km under our feet called "pedosphere". Two months after the fire accident on the BP owned DeepWater Horizon offshore oil rig and it sinking to a mile deep in the ocean, the Gulf of Mexico is literally swimming in oil with an estimated 22,000 crew struggling against one leaky pipe gushing out oil at a rate that nobody is even sure of. Like the time honoured adage that says “be careful what you wish for”. You asked for it, now you got it even though it may be not exactly how you would like it. Our fossil fuel abuse, yes abuse, has reached a level comparable to many folks popping pain killer pills unconsciously on a daily basis just to get through each day. We do it just because we can afford it, and it is the easiest alternative. That is a lousy choice, isn’t it ? The book “A HOT TEA BY THE GIZA” is not pointing an accusing finger at any guilty party in particular, as we are all complicit in varying degrees to the crime. Rather, its aim is in scientifically explaining how the use of energy impacts the environment around us. How we breathe, dispose body waste and anything we do leave marks in the environment and energy is no exception. Heat is a real waste that Mother Nature has to expel. Once we learn how that process works, we could help by doing the right things to cut Her burden with acceptable compromising to our lifestyle. Knowledge lets us control and manage life instead of blundering through like buffoons while teaching our children or theirs nothing. Writing this book has given the author new insight and prospects of solving our energy woes sustainably that will be discussed in its sequel, or a reprint at least, in due course. Addressed to young adolescents who will be confronted full on by escalating Global Warming, the book explains a number of issues such as; 1. energy science not keeping pace with energy use brings global warming, 2. polar ice and alpine glaciers mop up human activity generated heat thankfully, 3. at 0 C they clamp Earth temperature to underpin a fluid circulatory cooling, 4. misunderstood centripetal force spawns and sustains all cyclonic swirls, 5. low ambient heat must exit in storm kinetic energy, not radiation as believed, 6. unproven CO2 - greenhouse (GHG) warming theory is scientifically flawed, 7. cloud colour by internal light reflection depends on moisture cooling rate, 8. abrupt cold dry atmospheric downburst colliding with heat jump starts a tornado, 9. surreptitious Bermuda Triangle and flight disappearances without warning, 10. Jet Stream and all other celestial ferocious dust storms share same AGBC origin, 11. radiation is pulsating E-M energy field transmission, not particles in motion, 12. sunlight is an ultra-broadband E-M energy field broadcast, not a photon beam, 13. Earth’s magnetic field is born out of the Ionosphere by a relative rotation, 14. intrusive rockets and jet flights intolerably scramble a fragile upper atmosphere 15. dry ionic upper climate reigns over a moisture activated troposphere weather, 16. solutions to reverse global warming and impending calamity unless remedied, 17. a hypothesis on nuclear structure to explain gamma ray (γ) emission in fission, 18. etc. etc. Meant for your 2010 summer leisure reading, hopefully it will be your travel companion in days ahead and become a memento to your children and grand kids when they need a handy reference on this trans-generational scourge of modernity that we have incurred but without leaving them neither a solution, nor even a handle to begin finding one. About the Author
As a Canadian university trained post-graduate molecular physicist, I have spent five decades working in high tech professionaly in 28 countries on four continents. I was in private solar energy business for over 20 of those years. I have followed the environmental movement from its very beginning going back to Kyoto 1972. I was never a flower child but I concurred with their motive completely. For 40 years, the CO2 theory on global warming and its fiery controversy has been nothing short of a scandal and embarassment to science itself, but particularly to the scientific community as a whole. Our world is in a lamentable state of ignorance and despair not knowing how to find a solution to the climate change quagmire while edging closer to the abyss in acceleration with confusion, disrespect to the environment, envy and professional discourtesy to one another in the name of profit or prestige. It is a modern Dark Age that we live in. Since August 2010, I was invited and have been blogging in Toronto Examiner.com on science topics. So far, I have submitted 13 new articles on global warming (AGW) addressed to the UN-IPCC conference set for Cancun, Mexico in December 2010 outling CO2-GHG theory as total nonsense because CO2 hides 50 Km BELOW OUR FEET. Unless we get serious together very soon, instead of being the responsible Earth guardian that we ought to be in passing it on to the next generations to come with pride, helpful experience and advice, we will be handing them in shame a yucky mess of problems that we have created, having burnt up most of THEIR share of fossil fuel as if it was our private stash selfishly, and yet nothing being any wiser to help them deal with the morass confronting them. Is THAT what progress is all about ? Do we want that as our legacy ? The unstoppable oil leak from the BP owned Deepwater Horizon oil rig under a mile of ocean in the Gulf of Mexico with its grotesque videos of gushing oil plumes over 73 days after it had burnt and sunk and still with no possible solution in sight is an everyday sore reminder of the consequence confronting us anytime we put desire ahead of prudence. Thousands of livelihoods are wiped out not to mention the devastation to millions of wildlife for decades with uncertainty of recovery at all. It was caused by man and his mistakes. How far do we intend to push the boundary ? Was that how ancient civilizations self-destructed without a trace ? Mother Nature is tolerant and forgiving up to a point, then she acts decisively with little hesitation. Those who appreciate not her largesse and take it for granted by mistake often end up losing it all. I am retired after an ischemic stroke in 2002 and live with my family in Ottawa, the national capitol of Canada that is my adopted home.
