Survive the Storms
Topic: Sunshine after the storm
Scripture: Isaiah 12:2-6; Matthew 8:23-27.
The cry for help goes out, but there isn't anyone around to hear it. You cry louder scream harder, but your voice is still unheard. Some may ask the question why does everything seem so right in the beginning and end so wrong? Seems like you are having test after test, storm after storm, and so much confusion that life begins to overflow. You do not want to feel this way, but you cannot help it. You tried to throw all your cares over board to keep from sinking. You tried to steer away from the storm to only find yourself moving in the direction of the storm's eye. Then sometimes you try to take on your own storms, but lack any knowledge or experience in how to weather a storm. When you think family is there to help we find they have jumped overboard with all of our friends. Our friends that we once were able to find are now missing; swimming, right behind our family. At any other time, your family would be encouraging you to go on, push ahead and don't give up. However,after your most vulnerable time, your family is found telling you to give up, but there is something about being able to survive the storm, especially when your help is the Lord Jesus Christ. You can count on Jesus seeing you through every test, trial, and tribulation. He is able. He who has made the heavens and the earth. He who stopped the storm from overtaking his disciples in Matthew 8:23-27 is the same God available to help you. We all know after a storm the sun does shine, it is no different for your storm-SHOUT IT WILL SHINE. Isaiah 12 we witness the song of praise by the reading. God uses the prophet Isaiah, because of his literary ingenious. Isaiah's Hebrew name Yesh’-Yahu means God is salvation. Isaiah lets us know just by the meaning of his name that God is able. God will protect us, he will give us a way out of our situation. Even when we are constantly misunderstood, God understands us. When it seems like no matter how we express ourself or choose our words, God “gets” us. You always are misunderstood, and somebody is always unhappy but let us press to please the Master and stop worrying about......

One of the greatest questions in the Christian faith is how do I achieve spiritual prosperity and finally gain victory over my life. Many are tired of fighting the same fight and being dealt the same hand, and want God to hurry up and answer them. We are charged to be different, and to show others that do not know the way how to reach their greatest potential and live a spiritually prosperous life. God is calling every man to him. The Lord has room in the kingdom for all willing to lose their life to earn eternal life and achieve spiritual prosperity. No matter if you want to be rich in favor, own a Fortune 500 company or just want to develop the position in your life right now, God wants to show you how to take where you are and use that to get to where you want to be.
About the Author
Dominique is a minister at his local Church, House of God COGIC in Thomson, GA under the honorable Bishop Mark Walden. He is also the author of "The Faith Spot" Blog. In his life Dominique has been dedicated to sharing principles of successful living through Spiritual Prosperity and Self-Perception with everyone he comes in contact with. Dominique grew up in a single parent home rooted by the principles and teaching of the Bible. Not knowing his father until 11 years old, made him lean and depend on God and the teachings of his church. Despite all his mother did questions still were brewing in his mind. Questions that could not be asked in an open forum, affraid people would cast judgment on him. As a child hanging out at the roughest places in Springfield, MA Dominique witnessed many life changing experiences; gang violence, domestic violence, drug trafficking and other things that shaped him into the very person he is today. In these experiences God begin to "stand up" in Dominique and Dominique became a voice for his friends and family stuck in these appalling and frightful situations. He was blessed to join the United States Army and crafted a skill of writing and counseling others. It was October 2004 when Dominique left the training grounds of Fort Sam Houston, TX armed with a new attitude for life and a book (hand written) about what God had revealed to him through his life and many experiences. With this book Dominique was instructed through prayer and fasting to publish this book to the Christian world to share God's wisdom and teachings about life, business and Christianity. God told Dominique what to write and where to place every word written in this book and God instructed Dominique not to change one word or add any additional commentary to any chapter; and that is what he has done.
