"Where have you been?" John asked, for the fifth time. All I could do was stare at him. I had it all planned what I was going to say to him, but I could not get it out into words. About the Author
I am now living in Martinsburg, WV. After leaving High school, I married at age eighteen, but divorced after ten years of marriage. I had two fine sons. I remarried in 1974 and have been married for 36 years. We moved to Florida where my husband, Fred worked for Cape Canaveral. We stayed in Florida for 30 years. While there, I became a volunteer for an elementary school, and later took some collage courses so that I could continue to work with children. I became an assistant for SLD students and continued to work there for twelve years. I decided, during that time to start my own business. I decided on a consignment store, which I had for ten years. In the meantime, I started a mission store for my church, which I managed for another ten years. I went on two overseas mission trips with Shield A Child Missions. I had three grandchildren and two step grandchildren. After retiring, Fred and I decided to go back to our roots. We like to travel a lot, but my favorite hobby is making braided rugs. I had an idea for a book for many years, so in my spare time, I started writing.
