About the Author
After serving as a U. S. Air Force navigator, Milton Golin returned to Chicago news reporting, later becoming the first non-physician assistant editor of The Journal of the American Medical Association. He has written for over 200 newspapers and national magazines. Golin earned campaign ribbons (with three bronze battle stars) in six theaters of war. He and his wife live in Chicago.
