Weird Things Happening at Southside Middle School

... I just sat there enjoying my time at home alone. I decided to play a video game in my room so I turned the TV off and headed upstairs. Before I made it to the staircase, I noticed the attic door halfway open. I closed the door. As I walked to the room, I spotted a red-stained white towel on the floor beside the attic door. As I entered my room I began to hear a scratchy noise coming from the other side of the attic door. I ran into my room and quietly shut the door, turning everything off. I just listened to the noise, my heart was pounding as if it was about to jump out of my chest. “Thump…thump…thump.” I waited for the noise to stop. It seemed like it would never stop. I began to quietly open my bedroom door, and from my room I could see the light in the attic flickering on and off. I then heard a loud crash as if someone was knocked over something. I began to sweat and I became more and more nervous. I thought that by staying home alone, it would be a fun thing for me, but it wasn’t what I expected. I tiptoed into the bathroom across the hall from my room and locked the door. I sat on the toilet and turned the light off. I panicked as I sat in the dark bathroom, when heard a loud bang again, but this time the noise was closer. “Michael...Michael…” a voice called out from a distance. I covered my ears and hummed so that I won’t hear the voice calling my name. Then suddently I saw the bathroom door rattle and the knob was turning, as if someone was trying to enter the door. I continued to cover my ears and hum louder. The banging gets louder and louder. Then suddently the door burst open...
