Charlie Manor typed the last sentence of his comment and sat back to admire his work-perfect. He glanced over at a newspaper clipping hung on the wall next to his desk. It showed an attractive woman with long curly blonde hair, sitting at a desk. A little girl with matching hair sat on her lap, and a teenage girl with short blonde hair stood behind them. All three were smiling, and the caption below the photo read, “Well-known blogger, Paige McDonald, will be speaking at the BlogHer conference at the St. Marcus Hotel in Chicago, on August 10th..” He knew Paige McDonald read all of his comments that he left on her blog, even though she never posted them. He commented at least three times a week, expressing his love for her. He would explain in detail how well he would treat her if she were his. His words were always kind and poetic, so he never understood why she did not want the world to know how much he loved her. He daydreamed daily about the two of them being together, and he longed to touch her soft skin. Charlie stroked the newspaper with his fingertip. He took a deep breath and exhaled. The corners of his mouth suddenly turned downward, and he found himself growing angry. He prided himself on how patient he had been, but now his patience was growing thin. His desire for her was so strong, he could barely stand it. If he could not be with her soon, he didn’t know what he would be capable of doing to have her to himself. He calmed himself down and turned back towards the computer monitor. He maneuvered the computer mouse until the cursor rested over the button with the option anonymous on it and checked it. Anonymous-the word lingered in his head. He wanted her to wonder who he was every time she saw it. He clicked the send button and smiled once again.
