Tillie lives her life through what she believes is her own world, believing that life is about all play and no work. She feels that one day she will have the family that is promising to her reality; the kind with husband and children with a house and car. Now an adult reminicing on life, Tillie looks back on her life, wondering why her dreams did not make it to reality and where did she go wrong as to hit rock bottom with a use of drugs when she was once a person of strong beliefs of life with family friends and fun, throughout her story Tillie tries to regain her old life now gone to become family oriented once again; poetry and philisophy, is the key to mainting what we call inspriing the book begins with Tillie life's story with a look back on her childhood memeories, Tillie remembers how she lived her life as a child with the many blessing that surrounded her and how fun her childhood was, . if you can follow the story from with her first moments of her mental encounter wit the devil, Tillie reveles how she feels that the devil played a vital role in her not making it to the top in the world, how negative forces have impacted her through the paranormal and mainly how her life is based off of a dream that sort of described her life only she really would not realize this until she has gotten older. Do you believe in the battle of good and evil, the battle of good and evil and past lifes situations and fears that it will or it can become a huge part of a persons future, if you do not recognize. Recognition is important. Tillie never really opens up until the end part of her life but she does try to make sense of everything that has taken place within life mainly because her reality was put up on a front or was this just some sort of individual who was truely naieve? Now an adult reminiscing on her life, she wonders what happened to her dreams—how her life went so horribly wrong, how she hit rock bottom. In her youth, she had strong beliefs and convictions, with a supportive group of family and friends; somewhere along the way, though, she became lost in a world of drugs and bad choices. As an adult, she struggles to regain her former life and to become part of her family once again. I Can Show You the Way Life Goes follows Tillie through a carefree childhood filled with many blessings, through a downfall in which she believes the devil played a vital role—the kind of realization that can only occur later in life, when one can clearly see what went wrong. As she tries to make sense of everything that has happened in her life, she realizes that it’s never too late to turn your life around.
About the Author
Helena Faye Hill is a graduate from Los Angeles Trade Technical College, with a degree in liberal arts, was born in Pasadena, California. This is her first book. Embracing her hidden talent, the author began writing the book to allow others who have ever had an event in their life where the moments were surreal hoping that one would be able to truly relate. Helena Hill wanted to go to school for business but then changed career path when she felt she could make it in real estate when the market crashed and sent intrest rates falling to a point where almost anyone could buy real property. When real estate did not look up for her career she went back to school for a possible oportunity in community based politics. Life took a turn for Helena when she had her first child. Helena found that having a child without an income would prove to be more difficult than she would have expected, Helena would have to rely on her family, though turning to her family was more of a test for her. To have to leave her child at times to look for work, became overwhelming. She began to resent life wondering why when one person has it easy, why she has had it ruff. She basically began realizing that that was what life was all about forreal moments that prove what you have done with your life.. Thinking back to where it all began, to maybe it was not you though it was the past relarionships that alterd your dreams.
