About the Author

Born on the beautiful island of Bermuda, Cha’Von K. Clarke arrived on December 12th and is a true Sagittarius, with a zest for life. She is an alumnus of Temple University in Philadelphia, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts (Psychology). Cha’Von inspires others through a variety of art forms. Her poem, “Awakening,” can be found in the Bermuda Anthology of Poetry, compiled by the Ministry of Community and Cultural Affairs and she has written five performed plays. Plus, her acting debut was in the 2007 Golden Inkwell Award winning play at the Bermuda Musical & Dramatic Society. Cha’Von’s Christmas short stories have won 2nd price twice and Honorable Mention on three occasions in the Royal Gazette newspaper’s Annual Christmas Short Story Writing Competition. Cha’Von aspires to become a successful author and motivational speaker.
