About the Book

About the book! We thought it beneficial for others within sight of or already within such times together might find humor as a means to help adjust to this abrupt change, especially if they just let life unfold around them. Why – because most situations drawn came within a period of years just before and after retirement. So if you somehow see in us a little bit of yourselves - then it’s only because you in all probability exist. Now get ready to pick your side in a duel of wits that will likely strike close to home on more than one occasion.

About the Author

What have we here! We have two individuals with a sense of humor all their own, who have been living under the same roof for over forty years. Not only have they been sharing the same interests, house food children grandchildren, and now great grandchild, but also a ‘wit’ and understanding required to make such a bonding last this long. We have a man George and a woman Rose, two names that could represent anyone or anybody you might come across in your lifetime. They might coincidentally even be you. They are two individuals, personalities, who suddenly find each other thrown together now that hubby is retiring. And only now do they realize that the one thing they had not prepared for was the actual amount and true meaning behind the words ‘more time together’. The worlds they had lived in while he was at work, and she taking care of the family and household, are now about to collide. And now much to our good fortune they are about to share some of the those rare golden moments and situations often springing forth out of that with not only you – but anyone else willing to have their funny-bone not bruised but instead tickled.
