About the Book

I must tell myself its over! Change is in the atmosphere because I refuse, any longer, to allow pass hurts to sabotage my goals, my dreams, my purpose, and my ultimate destiny. Unforgiveness will no longer hinder my progress! It’s time to renew my mind and recognize and refute the enemy and his lies he has been feeding me and allow God’s word to propel me into my purpose. Rehearsing past hurts is no longer the order of the day. I MUST MOVE ON!!! I will be what God has called me to be. Yes, I was “Bruised but not Broken”.

Dr. Williams is well respected and held in high esteem among her peers and family. She is never too busy. She is never too tired. Her heart is always on the work and the people of the Lord. Her joy, is winning souls. She has an evangelistic heart. She is never happier than when she is preaching the Gospel. Observing people outwardly, they seem to have it all together, but inside they are tormented. Their past has broken, crushed, and wounded them inwardly. But healing is within reach. Dr. Williams is a victim of, mental, emotional, and sexual abuse. She suffered as a child. But today she has survived, therefore, letting others know that you can be “Bruised, but not Broken”. Life experiences, along with the many counseling sessions, and prayers qualify her to write this book. Because she made it through pains, heartaches, and depressions, emerged knowing that God is real, she can help others also. She and her husband, Bishop John C. Williams, Jr. reside in South Boston, VA.
