About the Author
Edward Hower has publsihed seven novels, a book of stories, and a volume of folktales he collected on two Fullbright grants to India. He has also received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the N.Y. State Council on the Arts. His writing has appeared in Atlantic Monthly, Smithsonian, The New York Times, Epoch, and elsewhere.
