About the Author
My name is Marvin Mack. In 1996, I stared The Center For Mind and Esteem Development (CMED) for two reasons. First, because it was revealed to me that my life's purpose is to uplift the consciousness of the world. Second, I wanted to bring the concepts of Personal and Professional Development to people who could not afford it, or otherwise would not be exposed to it. I grew up in poverty, but as a young man I was exposed to metaphysical concepts, as well as personal and professional development. After seeing how much these concepts healed and transformed my life, I was compelled to share this information with the world. After starting the company in 1996, I walked into Housing Authority of Baltimore City Resident Services with a proposal in hand and said to the Director, “Give me the people and I will help them to transform their lives.” With reservation, they allowed me to do a 30-day Personal and Professional Development pilot program. The pilot was a major success and 14 years later they are still one of my top clients. Since then, we have been teaching the core principles of this book to state agencies, non-profits, and private companies increasing their productivity, level of professional, and overall quality of life. Moreover, we have provided coaching sessions to assist directors, manager, counselors and supervisors on how to effectively connect with and influence their members and customers in a positive manner. The Center For Mind And Esteem Development, Inc. is a training institute committed to human development and individual achievement. Our goal is to teach self-empowerment principles to all people so that they can reach their fullest potential, fulfill their life's purpose, and achieve their personal and professional goals.
