About the Author
Writing “poetry of inspiration” to inspire the soul is the passion of Doris M. Batson. Her work speaks with a voice that offers hope to never give up on the pursuit of a dream. Aside from writing, she is a teacher, musician and artist. Among one of her books is one co-written along with her father, Rev. P.R. Moore entitled: “Restore the Joy,” A collection of inspirational poetry and prayers. She has a daughter, Brittany D. Batson and currently resides in her hometown of Tyler, Texas.
Through the journey of Evolving, Doris shares a personal journey in the search and pursuit of purpose. Each poetic passage inspires a heartfelt message to be encouraged to persist with faith and determination in efforts of seeking fulfilling purpose.
