The Whinermans

"Whine Dining" and "No Whining Allowed" It grows so loud George's ears start to ring. Then his head does a most ponderous thing. It bobbles as if his neck is a coil or a spring. It begins to ping, bing and finally cha ching. Suddenly George yells, "STOP! STOP! STOP!" He looks as if he is about to pop. So the Whinermans do in fact stop. It's so quiet you can hear the plop of an ice cube drop. Then George says, with great painstaking pain, "...to complain is pointless. It's useless. In fact, it's insane! Stop all the whining and let me explain. Although Whinerman is our name, we don't have to whine and complain. Find the whiny gadgets, gizmos, and gears. You know--the ones between your ears. Pull the wires. Cut the hose. Wedge them with a stick. Even give them a great big kick. Now try this little trick. Hold your breath and count to three. Say to yourself, self to whine is not the key. Yippee! I'm whine free. There are no more whines in me. If that fails, try deep breaths--four or five or more. Then sweep the complaints right out the door. Find another way to get your point through. Find a better way to do what you do. Look for the solution to whatever bugs you.
