Pulling into their driveway both Lena and Harold noticed the house was completely dark. There were no lights inside or out. Alarmed they ran towards the house leading Debbi by the hand. "Hello Anna are you here? Sandra, Sandra where are you?" Frantically they turned the lights on in every room, opening closets and calling out for Anna and Sandra. After a few minutes of thoroughly searching, they realized that no one was there. Harold went form neighbor to neighbor, knocking on doors to inquire when they had last seen Sandra or Anna. Mrs Finn said she had seen them in the park this morning. "I saw them pushing Sandra on the swings. It was Anna and a man."

About the Book
THIS STORY SPANS DECADES. It begins in the 1960's and ends in present time. It's the story of the Sussman family who live on Long Island, New York. They have two daughters, Sandra and Debbi. All is not idyllic in their early years. A dramatic happening changes the family forever. Later in their lives Lena and Harold Sussman become Snow Birds who spend many happy winters in their Florida condo. The reader travels along with the family through time and place, marveling at the unexpected events which occur during their exciting journey.
About the Author
Cora Hoberman is a retired Licensed Clinical Social Worker. After retiring she returned to her love of writing. This is her first book. For several years she and her husband were Snowbirds. The idea for this story germinated on one of their return trips from Florida while her husband was doing the driving. Cora currently resides in New York City.
