About the Author

Dan Danov’s background provides the detailed accuracy and credibility he brings to each of his stories. His serial type novels on the exploits of Max Hooker, international detective-at-large, are all high tech stories set in various international locations around the globe. Danov’s career includes almost 30 years working in over 20 international cities providing liaison connections for General Electric’s aircraft engine division with various US Government agencies regulating International Trade. These agencies included the US Treasury Department, the US Customs Agency, and the Departments of State and Commerce. He also worked on as a Project Manager in Germany for the Russian Pipeline Project, heading an international consortium of European and Asian companies which built the gas pipeline from the Urals to Western Europe. His flair for high tech themes which run through his writing come from his years of developing computer applications for international business transactions for which he holds numerous program copyrights. Danov draws on his extensive experience as an international government liaison managing the international trade affairs of a major US corporation. He gives his readers more than a tourist’s eye view as his plots evolve through many global cities of intrigue. He’s been there, done that.
