About the Book

While Snickers is writing her advice for cat staffers and aides, she finds herself embroiled in what looks like a plot to kidnap cats in the neighborhood. She organizes the Pet Club, which involves a way to warn pets of impending danger. She soon discovers that one cat is plotting to replace her as the leader, so she must act fast to stop rebellion in the ranks! And all of this is going on while Snickers is preaching to the pets in the neighborhood about Jesus. Can Snickers maintain her usual cool in the midst of this turmoil?

This is just one tale in the many exciting adventures that Snickers tells about in her book, along with her instructions to people who are fortunate enough to have a cat in their home.

About the Author

I am Snicker's aide.I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and after graduating from the U. of Michigan I became a teacher. I married and had two children, now grown, and was also a Preacher's Wife. We moved around a lot and ended up in Quincy, Il. I am now a retired widow. My main responsibility is watching my grandchildren grow up and taking care of a cat. Snickers is the first cat I've ever served. Notice I don't say owned. Snickers says that is so demeaning to a cat, and let's be honest, does anyone own a cat? Snickers is not a talking cat, so she used my computer to write her book. She has taught herself to read because my husband left his Bibles open around the house. Since she had access to the Bible she was able to teach herself to read. Snickers refers to the Bible as the Leather Book. Cats have recently attained the status of most popular pet in America and Snickers is convinced that all cat staffers would love to read her book so that they could better serve their cats. She thinks of this book as the ultimate cat manual. She points out that one in three households has at least one cat, so what better time to write a book by and about cats?
