Tricia grew up in East Cambridge neighborhood, a Puerto Rican community, where survival was uncertain within the gang member infested neighborhood. Thed East Cambridge jail was home to many of her former gang member friends at this stage of her life, and she had a full understanding of social justice within a community five miles away from thesocial elite neighborhoods of Brattle Street and Larchwood Drive. Tricia escaped this environment through Affirmative Action, and she progressed with education and cunning within the system, and she used her intelligence to escape her environment. Yet her Mother and two Brothers were still victims of the gangland neighborhood, until Tricia could save their sorry souls from this hellish life.

About the Author
A former key-level executive, Robert H. Burke had extensive work experience within the corporate restaurant industry, before his retirement. He has devoted his love for writing, since retiring in 2000, still a relatively young man. He has written seven manuscripts since 1997, most recently publishing a memoir, and he may publish additonal works in the future, from his vast array of biographies, novels, and non-fiction narratives. Robert resides in Florida, most recently aboard a sailing vessel, where he enjoys his life writing masterful works, including his love for poetry. He follows a sailing philosophy in conducting his life's direction: "We cannot change the direction of the wind, but we can adjust our sails."
