About the Book

Times were simple back then. This is a story about a girl named Marie who lived in those simple days of going barefoot and sleeping in the yard. She had lot of adventures and lessons were learned, sometimes the hard way. She laughed alot to hide the sorrow she felt when things went wrong in her family. An only child she shared everything with God, who understood her better than anyone.

About the Author

I have been writing for several years and have taken several writing courses. During this time I have been published in several small publications.

I am writing “My Letters To God” to show my children, grand children and great grand children what my life was like as a young girl.

I live, with my husband in the small historic town of Granbury, Texas. We are about thirty five miles west of Fort Worth. I am a retired realtor and have served in several political positions in Fort Worth. We have 4 children, 7 grand children and 2 great children .
