About the Author

William "Carey" Long is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) and Certified as a Personal Trainer with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-CPT) since 1999. Carey is also Certified as a "Johnny G" Spinning Instructor since 2000. I was also the "Director of Fitness" for the Louisiana Senior Olympics; and also the Greater Baton Rouge Area Senior Olympics "Personal Fitness Challenge Coordinator" from 2004-2007. I have always enjoyed sharing my passion for staying in shape with others. The way that exercise makes you feel empowered is hard to describe in words and is best understood thru personal experience. Over the past 22 years I have enjoyed watching the satisfaction when friends, family or clients reach a fitness milestone thru hardwork and determination. I have lived in Baton Rouge, LA for the past 16 years and have a wonderful and rich personal and work life. My goal with this book is to somehow reach one person and to empower them to make a change in their lifestyle that extends their life for another 20,30,40 years.
