About the Author

Raymond K. Huff has been gifted by God to communicate scriptures, experiences, thoughts of life, and a wide variety of stories and ideas thru the art of poetry. Being a teacher and preacher of the gospel, Raymond has the ability to capture the attention of an audience, and know how to lead them on a path, that provides, knowledge, entertainment, and humor, while still displaying his unique gift of poetry. Being born in the urban environment of Philadelphia, and later moving to the surburbs of Cinnaminson, NJ, had given Raymond the ability to speak to individuals of all ethnic and racial backgrounds. Also being in the military gave him the ability to develop a discipline lifestyle that transformed his writing skills into a newer ,and greater dimension. Raymond, was called by God as a teen-ager to study and teach the Word of God. Being an advent student of the Word inspired his gift of poetry, to reflect the scriptures in an innovative art style of poetry. Often times, the members of his church gave him standing ovations when he presented one of his poems before the congregation. Also having six siblings, gave the him the ability to understand family, and the complexity and joyous occasions that a family can bring. Having friends of all races and religious backgrounds, provided his poetic gift a open mind, and ability to reach all people. You can see the growth in his poetic gift, but may be able to tell which poems were written four years ago, compared to the ones written three months before being published, as Raymond always had a unique way of communicating his point. Not just a book of poetry about scriptures, but romance, love, family, and life are topics express through his poetry. And I am sure, like the thousands who have heard or read his work, you will be fascinated by this gifted poet, and his writings. To God be the Glory, for this gift of poetry wrapped up in this first published book by author Raymond K. Huff
