About the Book
Don't Let That Sun Go Down On Me reflects the passions of soldiers and prostitutes and the underlying horrors of war. Innocence is tentative, worldliness is manipulative, but there is an underlying honesty in the characters, whether they are American soldiers, Viet Cong insurgents, South Vietnamese women, French girls or the people who surround them. More than anything, there is a desparate cry to not let that sun go down on me.
About the Author
I have had a life-long interest in the vagaries of the human condition and have published three novels anonymously along with a book of poetry. To understand the human condition is a primary focus for me and to depict or render the various ways in which human beings interact is the primary focus for my writing, including the good and the bad.
