About the Book

Grow into maturity, fall in love, get married, join the military, go to college, start a career. This is a true story of one young man and one young woman whose destiny looked bright, beginning with their love for one another. In only seven years of marriage, the family had multiplied to three children. As we live one day at a time, things can go from good, to bad, to worse, to tragedy. The story behind this book elaborates on one such family that travels a path of vicissitudes, but they never lose sight of togetherness, love, and support. They reached a higher echelon to bring the broken pieces back together.

About the Author

Raising a family takes time, love, and dedication. The Good Lord blesses us with a loving spouse and children to raise as outlined in the Holy Bible. Watching your young offspring mature each and everyday of their lives. The happiness and love shared in everything they do. No matter how hard you try to protect them and raise them as Christian children, Jesus can bring his little angels home or change their direction of life when he feels it necessary. It isn't a punishment, it is his protection of his children. I am the author of, "Family Love, Happiness to Heartache." I am a devoted husband and father living with my wife, Barbara Jean, in Emory, Texas. I love to write and bring exceptional stories to the readers. This book is very heart warming and touching. My wife and I have raised four beautiful children, two girls and two boys. Tonya Rae, our oldest daughter, lives in Ennis, Texas with her husband and our grandson, Monroe. Courtney Breanne, our youngest daughter, lives in Plano, Texas with her husband and expecting her first child in October 2009. Our oldest son, Todd Edward, lives with us after recently graduating from college with a degree in Sports Management. Kyle Ray, our baby boy, is deceased since March 6, 2006 from injuries sustained in a car accident. I feel like Jesus needed a beautiful flower to fulfill his garden, and Kyle was the perfect angel chosen from the many of his beautiful children. I am also the author of, "Military Police Protection in Southeast Asia."
