My book chronicles the growth of corruption, its highs... its lows, from the early nineteenth century, through the romantic ‘20s and ‘30s to the present egregious courtroom dramas as seen through the eyes of The Immigrants’ Daughter. It uncovers the obscene abuse she suffered at the hands of her family and the California court system. In her unrelenting fight for Justice and truth, she found a love – few have ever known.
Two of the wealthiest men in California caught in the 1930’s “Great Depression,” each gave face to their true character. One, who gained his wealth by embezzling the famous Spanish Sanchez and Guirado families out of their vast fortune, puffed up, continued his neurotic prostituted sex orgies, like nothing had ever happened. Because of his vicious greed, he lost the complete embezzled fortune and died penniless. His grandchildren following suit, embezzled a fortune, and then also became penniless.
The other man, the immigrant, earned his money the hard way. He worked for it - from the ground up. He took his large losses in stride and held on to enough to protect his family. He still owned apartment buildings. It was the Christmas season. He went to collect the rent from one of his tenants. When the door opened, a woman in tears stood looking at him and said. “I no more have a job. I can not pay you.” Her children were running around half dressed and looking very thin. She continued, “We had three mattresses and they got torn and ruined. We sleep on the floor.” The immigrant told the woman not to worry about the rent.
On Christmas day, the immigrant knocked on her door again. This time he brought her three brand-new mattresses and a truckload of groceries. He wished them a Merry Christmas. He gave them faith, hope and love. He brought them groceries every week and supported them until they could get back on their feet.
The immigrant’s daughter inherited those same character traits, created her own fortune from scratch, and gave faith, hope and love to others... even her enemies.
I witnessed, in part, the corrupt, inconsolable crimes committed against her by her two sons, and the Los Angeles and Santa Barbara Counties, which led to the most bazaar rape ever pulled off by California court judges. They stripped her of her good name, her reputation, her lifetime achievements, her entrepreneurship and her fortune. I was fighting by her side, trying to keep afloat in a cesspool of unprecedented corruption. A depraved woman medical doctor, fraudulently assisted the Santa Maria District Attorney and her attorney lover, in labeled the immigrants’ daughter as having a mental disorder, then as to having Dementia, then as a victim of Alzheimer’s and then had Santa Barbara’s Alzheimer’s Association award her a scholarship to a Senior Day Care facility. In essence she was then branded as insane. There was nothing wrong with her mental capacities. She did nothing wrong. She was then disqualified from testifying against the corrupted judiciary.
I brought charges against one of the officers of the court, attorney Alan W. Courtney, through the Santa Maria District Attorney’s office. This case had been in the civil and criminal arena for over a decade. During that same time period, Santa Barbara District attorney “Mad Dog” Thomas Sneddon, was on a massive, feverish jungle safari to destroy Michael Jackson. He would stop at nothing that would interfere and prevent him from making his acceptance speech on the day that Michael Jackson was to hang, even at the cost of destroying The Immigrants’ Daughter.
At the same time the Michael Jackson trial was continuing in one part of the Santa Maria Courthouse, our trial against Courtney, was taking place in another section of that same courthouse. The two trials were back to back like bookends with inconsolable Judicial Corruption at work in between. During Mad Dog’s insane drive to hang Jackson, he enabled the death of the immigrants’ daughter and would bury anyone else who stood in his way to becoming the man who brought down the king of pop.
After Jackson was exonerated, our criminal case against Courtney was still in play along with our Kangaroo Hearsay civil case. Both cases were hanging in the air still unresolved. Our case against Courtney, cost the taxpayers of Santa Barbara County over one million dollars by itself, in DA’s attempt to silence me and The Immigrants’ Daughter.
I had been corresponding with crime reporter Aphrodite Jones, regarding our story and the Michael Jackson trial. She met with me at a book-signing event in Santa Barbara, where she was promoting her book, Michael Jackson Conspiracy. While I was there, I met and talked with Thomas Mesereau, Jr., the lead attorney at the Michael Jackson trial. He told me, “I thought the people of Santa Maria were wonderful, good and honest. But never in my life or career had I found myself in the middle of such a crazed, dishonest, and manipulative feeding frenzy brought on by District Attorney Thomas Sneddon who blatantly destroyed lives, cost the Santa Barbara County taxpayers millions of dollars and seemed to stop at nothing to convict the innocent Michael Jackson.” Tom Mesereau signed my copy of Aphrodite’s book and then Aphrodite signed, “For Rex – I believe in justice on earth – and I know you will prevail! ... xxx Aphrodite”
Printed on the cover was:
“To anyone who wants to learn what happened in the Michael Jackson courtroom this is the book [Michael Jackson Conspiracy] to read. – Thomas A. Messereau, Jr., lead attorney.”
I might add:
“To anyone who wants to learn where love lies, where truth lies and of the conspiracy that took place behind Mad Dog Sneddon’s closed doors during the Jackson trial, the extreme corrupt, manipulative madness that existed between Sneddon’s staff and his subordinates, the flushing of legal cases down the toilet by Mad Dog, and where Sneddon’s staff, with only one ad nauseam theme, attempted to prove me insane - I strongly recommend you read my new book, The Immigrants’ Daughter. – Rexino Mondo, author.”
