About the Author

Thuyen Huy was born in a poor village of Tay Ninh province in South Vietnam. Graduate of National School of Pedagogy- Saigon. Graduate of Saigon University (Arts) and National Institute of Administration - Saigon. Being imprisoned in the re-education and concentration camp of Vietnamese communist regime after the fall of Republic of South Vietnam in April 1975. Arrived in Australia as a political refugee in 1980. Had Master of Education from University of Southern Queensland and Master of Education of Victoria University - Australia. Living in Melbourne - Australia. Worked as the writer and editor of a number of Vietnamese newspapers and magazines in Australia. Teaching Vietnamese language at Victorian School of Languages - Melbourne - Australia.
