About the Author

Teri Shaughnessy is the Managing Partner of No Guts, No Glory, a Life & Business Coaching practice in Tucson, AZ. As a Certified Life Success Consultant and public speaker, Teri’s passion is to teach, lead and inspire people of all ages and walks of life to discover the missing link that will create greater results in their lives and to live with purpose and meaning every day. Teri’s expertise is a result of years of studying with the great transformational leaders and applying what she has learned to save her own life. She has overcome the pain from the death of a child, a loss of another to addiction, & losing a marriage that ended in emotional abuse. She is now reclaiming her power and living a passionate life. Teri wants to teach others what has worked for her to live her life on purpose with passion each and every day. Teri has trained under some of the greatest leaders in the personal growth industry including Bob Proctor (“The Secret”), Janet Bray and Chris Attwood (The Passion Test™) Blair Singer (“Sales Dogs”) and T. Harv Ecker (“Secrets of a Millionaire Mind”). She received her B.A. in Business Communication from Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska, USA. Teri began her training and speaking career in the mid-90s for a marketing company in the insurance industry. During that time she traveled throughout the U.S. teaching insurance professionals how to market annuity and long-term care insurance products. Teri has been a speaker at various events including those sponsored by ABWA (American Business Women’s Association) Ewomen Network, CLA (Community Leadership Association), NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) and various other networking organizations in California and Arizona. Teri facilitates workshops such as The Passion Test™, and those centered on dispelling limiting beliefs, working with the Law of Attraction, creating a Code of Honor, and attracting & creating meaningful relationships. Teri is currently writing her first novel about a mother’s journey raising boys from early childhood through turbulent adolescence into definitive manhood. As this young mother begins to understand her role in this chaotic parental relationship, she shares the parallel voyage she and her sons travel. The first of this trilogy is expected to be completed in summer 2010. Teri is a mother of three boys, M. Christopher Snell, deceased, and Daniel Joseph Snell, 27 and John Phillip Snell, 25 who reside in Santa Rosa, CA. After 23 years in the wine country in northern California, Teri now lives in Green Valley, AZ with her English Yorkshire, Molly Mo.
