coasting Calm waters, clear air, the scent of the trees The sound of the paddle as it kisses the lake The soothing bath of the waves as they rock the canoe We glide through unopposed by the waters' blue hue The Shroud of Avalon As night's darkness descends with an over cast sky The air turns translucent from what was clear to the eye A spell has been cast on our ocean of air It has been filled with a haze that once was not there Slower Times A ship plies her trade on a jungle river that she calls home She travels its length with herr passengers and freight in soulful care She's in no great hurry for time here has no great stake The pace of life is as leisurely as the rivers progress Grave Diggers I cover up my ears to block out our loving mother's dark scream. Her favorite child dissects her, strips her, and disembowels her form. This spoiled child gone mad is fighting to fulfill its self centered dream. It no longer sees its mother's whole form from its orgy's dust storm
