God is still speaking! Sometimes we hear but we don't listen. God wants to have a relationship with each of us, and we each feel his presence at different times. For some God is closest when they are studying His Word, or when they are preforming acts of service. Still others hear his voice during times of worship and contemplation, but for me God grabs my attention when I find myself a small and imperfect creature in his great and perfect creation. Seeds From My Garden is an attempt to share God speaking to one amateur gardener as he shows his Love, Faith, Patience and Joy to her life. It is not the purpose of these devotions to present great theological theories or questions, but to assure you that God is closer than you think. Seeds From My Garden takes you on a walk through backyards, along rivers and streams and down wooded lanes to observe the residents, both flora and fauna, of God's beautiful creation. These personal experiences have brought me into a closer walk with God, and my prayer is that they will help you to hear God speaking and guide you to cultivate the seeds he has planted in you.

After reading this book, I don't know whether to go and buy a package of seeds and some gardening tools to start a garden or sit down in front of a warm fireplace and have a slive of hot apple pie. I would stronly recommend this book to anyone seeking to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ or someone wanting to enrice their walk with the Lord. Rev. About the Author
1.Ginger Schmidt holds a B.A. degree in elementary education/history, Stetson U., Florida, Master of General Studies in journalism, Roosevelt U. Chicago. Taught public and private school, designed and taught creative writing Adult Ed. Palm Beach County, Fla. and English Roosevelt U., Chicago. Outdoor editor/columnist numerous outdoor magazines. She also compiled several books and co-authored with her late husband several travel books. 2. This book is the result of many years of God speaking to one amateur gardener as he has showed his love, faith, patience and joy in her life through her personal experiences with him. Combined with these experiences is botanical information about she resident both flora and fauna in her gardens. 3. Ginger Schmidt currently lives in Avon Park, Florida where she is active at Emmanuel United Church of Christ. She continues writing inspirational romance novels and devotional material. She is a mother of two sons, gradmother of four and great-grandmother of three. In addition to her church work and gardening, she enjoys camping, sewing and is an avid reader.
