About the Author

Author Biography/About the Author I have been writing poetry since I was a teenager. Throughout my life, people that have read my poems have told me that they have enjoyed them, and what the poems have to say. I have been told that my poems contain deep thoughts and are beautiful. The reactions that people have after reading them are either a smiling face, or an expression of awe. Innermost Thoughts reflects my innermost feelings about life, written in poetry. Some of these poems are deep, revealing to you my inner being. Others like "Rubies and Pearls" are on a lighter note, portraying the lighter aspects of my life. All in all, the poetry portrays my life as I have lived it. Francesca Zafarana was born in Brooklyn, New York. After graduating high school, she worked in several clerical jobs which included typing, and secretarial work. In her mid 20's, Francesca and her fiance Giuseppe got married and resided in Queens, New York. They had one daughter together; their only child. In 1987, Francesca and her husband moved to Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania where they currently reside. Cover Copy/About Back The Book Innermost Thoughts is a collection of poems written by a woman who is expressing her feelings about life. Some of these poems are very deep in thought, while others are lighter in thought. These poems vary in their subject matter. An example of some of the subjects that these poems relate to are: lonliness, memories, lost love, make-believe, love and smoke rings; just to name a few. The poems were created and written from life experiences, and they have a very inspirational flavor to them. If you like poetry, are inspired by things that have happened; or that you would like to have happen in your own life, you will enjoy reading the poems in Innermost Thoughts.
