Who is God? You are

Time to give up negativity, time to let go of your past stories, they are nothing but memories stored in your mind. Time to let go of assumptions you had about yourself, others and the world. Time to laugh, time to cry with joy, time to release the angel inside. As I heard one famous chef say- if you spend enough time in nature, all your problems go away, and everything is answered. Its true, the wisdom in nature from the trees, the birds, the animals, the flowers all have their intelligence to show us all works perfectly. We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature - trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence... We need silence to be able to touch souls.” Mother Teresa The snowdrops know when to appear they are working away outside of thought underneath the earth and when they are ready and in perfect time and unison they shoot up gently gushing through the earth, spring up and bloom and all this happens without any effort- just a natural process. Now imagine just allowing yourself to do the same? A hummingbird doesn’t wake up every morning and worry about where his next meal is going to come from. It doesn’t fret about all the things it has to do in one day. The waves in the ocean don’t plan for ok now its time to go into shore and back out to sea again. Just like nature we are the same when we operate from our true nature. We ebb and flow; there is a natural cycle of birth, growth, death and rebirth. What if we allow more and more of that ego to die and just allow the perfection to unfold easily and effortlessly? Imagine a life where you just surrender all and just be yourself. Natural, easy, effortless creator. Surrendered all worries, concerns, need to know what will happen in the future, and just to surrender into the peaceful embrace of now, of this moment. Just be happy to be here in this moment and not wishing for something else. Chapter 8 God is Flow Be like the stream, crystal clear and flowing. Be like the ocean, one that is calm and still, be like the tree blowing gently in the wind. If you were to see a beautiful crystal clear spring and the water is just the purest you have ever seen. Then someone decides to dump some litter in it. It won’t be so beautiful and it will become toxic. You too have the same responsibility. To be a litter warden. To ensure nothing contaminates your flow- NOTHING. You are the minder and the keeper of ensuring this beautiful spring is cherished and honored and stay crystal clean and pure. You may have heard the saying- you can never step in the same river twice. It’s constantly flowing. Its so dynamic so powerful and so perfect. No two moments are the same and like all energy is always moving. It’s dynamic and if you put a block on this river or stream- you will cause an outburst, an overflow and goes against its natural flow. So when you compare yourself to the stream, are you flowing with it or have you put blocks in the way or have you polluted it with your rubbish? You determine how this stream of ease flows within your own life. You have the power to remove any blocks. You are the stream that is flowing perfectly. That is your natural state. Listening to negative news from the media, watching negative dramas on TV, focusing on death and illness, surrounding yourself with negative people, what are you letting into your stream of wellbeing? What is consuming your energy? What are you spending time on and with whom? All of these will impact on your energy positively or negatively. When you start to become aware, you will gravitate towards things that will make your feel good. You will start to choose different foods, different people to hang around with, different programs on TV, different hobbies. Now I can sense the panic in people’s minds- you mean I have to give up certain friends, foods, sure that’s no fun. You don’t have to do anything. You just do what makes you feel good. If it increases your energy then this is alignment with God. If it depletes you and makes you feel bad, then this is disconnection from that flow, we call god!
