About the Book

The passion for this book came from my preschooler who sat in church with us each Sunday morning and drew pictures of what the pastor was speaking on. When she was 9 years old I gave her a photo book with each of these drawings in the book. She went through each one and wrote what each one meant. I couldn’t believe that God’s word could be so powerful that she could take what she could draw when she was four and then write the meaning of it at 9. God’s word will not come back empty! Isaiah 55:11 is where God promises that his word will not come back empty, AND it will achieve His purpose. What an incredible promise from God! Are you looking a tool to study God’s word? This book is not 30 days to a happy problem free life. This is 365 days of learning to walk daily with someone who loves you and as plans to prosper you, wants to carry your burdens, share your joys and show you his promises. If you spend time in God’s word he promises that it WILL NOT return empty and it will achieve His purpose. Have you ever wondered what His purpose for your life was? I encourage you to take responsibility to listen to him through the scripture for the day, and talk with Him through the journal each day and see the ways he will work. I can’t wait to see how God fills each of you in different ways through your obedience of coming to meet with him.

About the Author

I myself have grown up as a “Christian” all of my life. I live in Michigan with my husband of 19 years and 3 children and have had the privilege of going to a Christian School and have grown up in a Christian home and attended church my entire life. I became a student of the Bible when I was about 24. I started to attend Bible Study Fellowship, an international bible study. God lit a fire inside of me and I couldn’t get enough of his word. Until this time I was lukewarm always looking for the next “How to” book. Trying to be good enough getting more tired everyday. I was missing the best “how to” book of all. Today I am still a student of the Bible discovering so much of what God has planned for my life. I still fail miserably every day, but his word shows me who I am and who I need each day of my life.
