About the Book

The story is about a young man who works as a logger far up into the high Cascade Mountains. Located in the northwestern part of the United States. He deals with the dangers of working as a choker setter and getting along with his coworkers on the job. At home he is not ready to settle down to the life as a married man and starts enjoying the night life at a dance hall wasting his money and spending life away from his family. He eventually finds a girl as weak as he is and enjoys the sex and the partnership in his night life. He lives in a heaven on earth for him untill it turns into a hell on earth. That is when he and his running partner pay the price for his weakness. He tries to change his life but much damage has been done.

About the Author

I am qualified to write a novel because I have lived my life and from living that life I have found enough expiences and aquired enough education along with a great desire to write this novel that I hope will entertain and inform the reader. I was raised in the northwestern part of the United States by my mother and stepfather, who was a logger and lumber mill worker. I loved sports and that was my major interest. In school I was a average student being that I was lazy and lacking confidence and non competitive except in games and sports. Later in my life I just started writing and have continued to this day. I live in San Antonio, Texas and am now retired and living with my wife while spending a great deal of time with my four children and my grandchildren
