I sit leisurely in my battered boat floating through life casually dipping fingers in, observing the ripples they make. I feel the coolness of life to my touch, the stalwartness of life's energy flow, emphazing how much it always endeavors to grow. With fascination I watch each ripple sweep out expanding. Taking strength from each touch, making a course of its own, growing stronger, larger, as the day gets longer.

This book is my dream and the courage of presenting my poems to you. It is a reminder to me of how just one small touch, word, or deed done can and will make a difference in someone's life. It is like watching a ripple grow and take on a life of its own. I hope that all ripples in your life will be done with kindness and love.
About the Author
I now live in Keystone Heights, Florida. I have retired from BellSouth Telephone Company and am enjoying retirement life. My daughter and her family live behind me so I have the priviledge of taking care of my grandchildren and err experiencing their growing up process. My husband and I have several hives of bees and enjoy the honey they make for us. I also have the priviledge of working as a poll worker for Clay County Elections. What fun it was working the local elections as well as the presidential elections this past year.
