About the Book
After my first book "Generations" a number of people said that they would enjoy reading a book that featured only my writings. Although I don't claim to be a poet, I endeavored to write a book soley by myself that was more centered in the free style poetry that so many of my friends enjoyed. The title of this book "The last Harvest of lilies" besides being an obvious reference to the plight of the people in Darfur also was a fit title because it is probably the last poetry book that I will write.
About the Author
After I graduated from Radford University in 1988 with a B.S. Degree, my fortunes eventually turned to teaching. By the time I became a graduate student; several professors were advocating that I submit my writings for publication. Since acquiring a Master's Degree in Education, I have been teaching in the Roanoke Valley ever since.
