About the Book

If you are going through books looking for answers for yourself, a loved one or just skimming for information; take one thing away with you from opening up this book. Victoria Balitewicz is an Ulcerative Colitis success story. She will be your guide through her challenges and successes leading up to her diagnosis while understanding and fighting this disease. Her struggles to come to peace with what it has done to her over the years since the diagnosis are also part of her journey. Her hope is that this story will either help people realize and understand their condition or help others understand what their wife, husband, friend or neighbor is going through.

Don’t allow Crohn’s, Ulcerative Colitis, or IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) make you or someone you love a passenger in the ride of life. Take control of that life with research, referrals, advice, help groups, talking to a best friend, the ideas are endless; and as the roller coaster ride operator would say “enjoy your ride!”

About the Author

Victoria Lynn Balitewicz was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 1968. She graduated from Indiana University Purdue University in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 1990 with a BS in Marketing. She currently resides in Aurora, Illinois, with her husband and two children. She is an Ulcerative Colitis success story having fought the disease for nine years.
