There is a slight sound of rustling leaves, then the trees begin to move all around me, there is no wind. I watch mesmerized and fascinated that trees could actually move, without warning they grab me with a jerk. I feel the branches twisting around my ankles, moving up my legs, wrapping around my waist squeezing me. Quickly they move up my arms and onto my face. It feels almost as if they are touching me as a mother would be her newborn chid, at first gently caressing me, then as if they can sense my fear they start squeezing me harder, I feel my breath being squeezed out of me. I feel like I’m going to suffocate. “Help me” I tried to scream but it only came out as a whisper.

About the Book
Amy never realized the real meaning of terror until she moved into her husband's family home. Now she has to battle dark forces to keep her husband, her home and her sanity.
About the Author
I began writing after a deep meditation session Northwest Oregon. There was a family that lived on my mother's property many, many years ago and there was lots of violence in the old house, a young boy who was handicapped died by the hands of his father on her property. The house where they lived was torn down but their spirits still existed on the property. During that session I freehanded a scary story, so after encouragement from my family and friends I expanded on it and that's how I began writing. If it hadn't been for coming to Oregon to care for my sick mother I probably would never had the opportunity of enjoying the quiet woods and expansive vastness of the coast line in which my inspirations have developed.
