5.0 Debunking the Myths: Truths or Tall Tales?
We began the journey with some typical health/food myths. With all your new knowledge and awareness these should be a piece of cake. Here they are:
Myth: “We must eat 3 meals a day from the 4 food groups”
Truth: The 4 food groups don’t work as they offer too much carbohydrates and meat/dairy and not enough fresh, live food. Three meals a day doesn’t really cut it as the risk is to overeat at some meals and go hungry other times. More smaller meals are better for fuel and energy production.
Myth: “As you get older, your body falls apart, energy and all capacities decrease dramatically”
Truth: There is some decrease in ultimate performance (Maybe 10% to 20%) but if fueled properly and exercised regularly, the human body can live healthily and vibrantly well into the late 90’s. Living a healthy, pain and disease free life to 100 is a real option today. Falling apart occurs due to a toxic, acid and sedentary lifestyle along with too much stress. A body in health recreates and regenerates it does not “Fall apart”.
Myth: “Milk is a great source of calcium”
Truth: There are better sources of calcium available in leafy vegetables and legumes. The acidic nature of milk’s lactic acid actually require leaching of calcium to negate milk’s acidity. The hormones in milk and it’s fatty nature make it a poor choice. Better choices are soy milk, almond milk, rice milk, etc.
Myth: “You need to eat meat/dairy to get protein”
Truth: The protein available in meat and dairy are counterbalanced with huge amounts of fats, hormones as well as the fear of the animal. The amount of energy for the body to digest meat negates any protein advantage it might of contained. Many athletes who perform at the highest international levels are vegetarian. Broccoli for example is a great source of usable protein.
Myth: “Coffee is good for you and keeps you sharp.”
Truth: Coffee is a drug and is acid for the body, acid burns holes in anything and turns to glue. Coffee creates adrenal challenges, the rush from caffeine is actually the body being poisoned and raising an alarm and mobilizing the troops to eliminate the poison. The energy “down” requires more and more of the drug which eventually will short out your ability to react to situations requiring an energy boost. The acid also weakens bones due to your body leaching calcium to neutralize the acid.
Myth: “Alcohol, especially wine is good for you.”
Truth: Alcohol is a drug, a depressant, acid-creating and kills hundreds of thousands of brain cells per use. Wine though having come from grapes (a great antioxidant) has been putrifed and corrupted to sugar then alcohol robbing it of nutritive value. Alcohol is NOT GOOD for you!
Myth: “You can catch all kinds of nasty colds and you should run to get your flu shot every year”.
Truth: People don’t “catch” colds they, create an environment of decay made up of too much yeasts, fungi and bacteria due to their acid lifestyles. Stress compounds the issue around the holidays. The flu shots are usually based on a guess, they are made of bird embryos and are carried in chemical solutions. Many people get quite ill after a flu shot, most health care professionals avoid the flu shot, so should you.

Health Tip #14: Over 70% of your food intake should be high-water content food (made up of 80% vegetables and 20% fruits).

Alkalinity : Great Greens
One of the most important issues checks and balances your body presides over is to maintain alkalinity throughout your body to support cellular life. This level of alkalinity is maintained by all your systems such as breathing, circulation, digestion and hormonal production balance. These remove acid residues from your cells. The pH level (measure acid vs alkaline) in your body should not deviate too far on the acidic side (common) or too alkaline (uncommon). If it deviates too far, cells drown in their own toxic waste and die.
The pH scale: Stands for Potential of hydrogen. Acids have a pH under 7 and alkalis a pH above 7. Right at 7 is neutral (neither acid or alkaline). The scale runs from 0 (pure acid…can burn through steel) to 14 (Pure alkaline).

Key Health Tip #9: The cheapest health indicator you can buy is not a scale! It is pH strips available for at health food stores and some drugstores.
Different body tissues maintain different levels of pH. The blood should be slightly alkaline, where urine, saliva and the digestive track should be slightly acid. The blood can not survive any major fluctuations in pH and still sustain life.
The most important aspect is the body’s alkaline reserve (sodium bicarbonate) or Alkali Excess. Why? This reserve is stored until needed to neutralize excess acid in the body. If the body becomes acidic and depletes the alkaline reserve there is no buffer. Cells weaken and or die and this is where your body functions become compromised = disease. This is the number one thing you need to monitor to stay healthy : stay alkaline!
Key Health Tip #10: If you are overweight, you most likely have an acid problem. By becoming more alkaline, your body will get rid of the fat it used to surround the acid. Since it no longer needs to protect itself from acid, you shed weight as long as you stay alkaline!
3.43 Fantastic Frequencies : Foods and Organ Systems
A better, more easily related to and much more manageable way to look at food and energy is a measurement of the food’s “life force” energy value measured in hertz, Hz (a frequency). All living things have life force.
“Some believe the hertz frequency is directly related to how much life force an organism has. For example:
• A healthy human vibrates at about 62 to 72 MHz, but a sick person, depending on how ill he or she is, can dip from 58 MHz when struck with a minor illness to as low as 42 MHz with a major one.
• Degenerative conditions such as cancer are detected below 48 MHz.
• Illness CANNOT survive in frequencies above 60 MHz.”
According to studies conducted by Dr. Robert Young, and Shelley Redford Young, authors of the brilliant “The pH Miracle” diet book, the website has great alkalizing recipes too! Foods you include in your diet should ideally have a frequency of at least 70MHz. Whenever you ingest any food carrying less than 70 MHz, you actually use more energy assimilating the food than you get! What this means to you is that your body keeps craving more food after you eat foods deficient in energy. Then you crave high calorie “artificial energy” foods such as fried foods, sugary sweets and the drug of all drugs: caffeine! Look at the following chart:
