About the Author

Isaac Jenkins, Sr., a native of Portsmouth, Virginia is the esteemed Senior Pastor of the New Macedonia Baptist Church on the corner of 6th and Young Streets in Pocomoke City, Maryland. Pastor Jenkins has served as under-Shepherd, preacher, teacher, counselor, and friend to the flock of New Macedonia Baptist Church for well-over 40 years. Pastor Jenkins was also consecrated into the office of Bishop in August 2006. Isaac Jenkins, Sr. is the Executive Director and Founder of Save the Youth Crime Prevention Program, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Antioch College, Baltimore, MD, a Bachelor of Sacred Theology degree from Burton College and Seminary in Manitou Springs, Colorado, and an honorary doctorate from National Theological Seminary and College as well. He has four adult children and five grandchildren.
