Heavens Door A precious life within me grew Such little time if we only knew The pain I felt that December day The day that God took my baby away Away from the mother who rocked her each night Away from the arms that held her tight Oh why Lord did you take her from me? I loved her so much did you not see? The day will come for you to explain Your reasons for me to carry this pain For now I surrender and accuse you no more I'll see her again as I walk through Heavens Door.

About the Book
Writing is a huge part of my life. It allows me to express my emotions throughout the difficulties we all experience in our lives. I have had several poems published through some of the online poetry sites and have been fortunate to be blessed with this ability. I enjoy being able to put into words the feelings I have and then allow those feelings to flow from the page to the reader. When they connect with me to the point of being able to see, hear, or feel what I have written then I have accomplished what I set out to do.

Writing has now been a part of my life for about 12 years, it has given me a way to express my emotions throughout the difficulties we all experience in our lives. When they connect with me to the point of being able to see, hear, or feel what I have written then I have accomplished what I set out to do. I am a 49 year old mother of five wonderful children and six grandchildren. I was born and raised in Central Missouri where I live with my husband Bill and our 15 year old daughter Kaitlyn.
