In his poetry, H. D. Wagener often attempts to walk the invisible boundary between that which is real and that which is impermanent, or unreal. He recognizes that this boundary cannot be crossed by the intellect, but can be transcended beyond the mind. H. D. cannot take you there. He can, however, entice you to make your own explorations in the quest to realize the truth of That Which Is.

About the Author

H. D. Wagener has written poems on physical and spiritual reality for over twenty-nine years. He has taught courses on the meditative life and the Perennial Philosophy at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Southern Maine. H. D. lives in Portland, Maine, with his wife, Marion Lundgren.
