Warren is Wonderful celebrates unique and sensitive children and adults diagnosed with Autism, Asperger's, and other unique ways of being. The story itself conveys the need for understanding, validation, support, and unconditional love. This book was written for the children who are diagnosed. It helps them to better understand and appreciate themselves. In addition, it is also a tool to help peers, siblings, parents and relatives.
About the Author
Annette L. Becklund (author) is a licensed clinical social worker in private practice. Annette and her associates specialize in working with children and their families with Autism Spectrum Conditions and all unique ways of being. Learning is an intricate part of the therapeutic process. Annette believes in facilitating learning about Autism (and accompanying issues) from a strength’s based perspective. When asked, "Why the interest in Autism?" The answer is easy. "Where else can you meet souls in such an intimate environment as that which is fostered during therapy who are so honest, intense and 'exquisitely sensitive'?

Ray Gulzeth (illustrator) finds enjoyment these days in the simple things that life offers including nature, wild animals, star gazing and his artwork. At his home during his time off you can find him sitting somewhere in the yard, pockets fully loaded with peanuts and birdseed surrounded by birds, squirrels, chipmunks and an occasional visiting skunk or two. Ray practices Reiki, the discipline of Aikido and is an avid reader of books dealing with spirituality. Ray is a self-taught artist that prides himself in many of his oil paintings being mistaken for photographs. Throughout his life Ray has enjoyed doing pencil drawings. Recently Ray began to illustrate children’s books including, “Thank You Sammy” by Brian R. King, LCSW.
