About the Author

Hello, my name is Jake Conner, I have been designing and writing Role-Playing Games as a hobby for nearly 9 years. And I have spent the last 3 years perfecting, composing and illustrating the, Maverick Strategy Role-Playing Game. During high school I recieved a silver key, from the scholastic art fair, as well as various other local honors for my skills as an artist growing up. I grew up in Fairbanks, Alaska, and I received my high school diploma from Lathrop high school. There I met the Shurz's, Richard and Jonathan, as well as Ashley Hotz, (my girlfriend,) and other friends who would introduce me to the world of Pen & Paper RPG's. Ever since I picked up video games on the Sega Genesis as a kid, I have been obsessed with the idea of becoming a game designer. I tought myself to draw and conceptualize, throughout my life from elementary school all the way through high school. In middle school I discovered text based online games known as, MUD's, (multiple user dungeons,) which is where I found my desire to make Role-Playing Games. When I learned about the world of pen & paper I realized that a game design career was not actually as far away as I had thought, and by the time I was out of high school I already had enough material to write about 4 books!
