She worked for Seminole County Public Safety Department. She wrote these poems between the ages of 13-18. I don’t know why she stopped after we got married I tried to get her to keep righting and get someone to publish them but I guess she lost entrust, she just wanted to be a good Mother and Wife and yes she was very good at both. After 12 years of fighting cancer I lost my best friend, for the first time I couldn’t tell her, don’t worry about it I’ll take care of it. So I put her poems in print so hopefully others can enjoy her work, and understand who she was. If I had only one friend left I’d want it to be you. In loving memory Husband Roger Burke Sons Courtney (Alicia) Burke and Aaron Burke, Granddaughters Alonna Burke-Monds, and Cierra Burke and good friend Desiree’ (Monds) Rice. With all my Love Roger Burke
