About the Book

Once again, I present in poetic form a volume of my thoughts and feelings covering many aspects of life and a wide variety of subjects. Throughout my 95 years, I witnessed the inestimable marvelous progress of the twentieth century; some can be noted within this book. I am forever grateful for the experiences. Recalling wonders of the past and expressing hope for the future provided substance for much of the content. I've found keeping one's mind alert, hands busy, swiftly time passes, pleasure endures. Peruse the pages for fun, relaxation, inspiration, meditation, whatever ... enjoy the ride.

About the Author

I am now 95 years of age. Born in Lees Summit, Missosuri, I lived in central Illinois until 1995 and currently reside in Ormond Beach, Florida. I have a son and a daughter, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two great-great grandchldren. Writing poetry siince my childhood I have fulfilled a life long ambition of having my words published. This latest book of poetry is my third to be published by IUniverse. My works concern a variey of subjects, health, wealth, life, death, joy, sorrow, the arts, science, space, faith, hope, trust, inspiration, and some engaging controversial views. Previous publcations are "My Musings and Me" and "Memories and Musings". I have also been published in other sources and am recognized as a Poet Scholar by the International Library of Poetry. Having been blessed with wonderful longevity and good health, I have lived the American dream. Raising a family, success in business, serving as president of American Business Wormens Association, flying a plane, supporting community and cultural events, mentoring children, and my deep faith in God, enriched my life in so many ways. Each challenge was seen as an opportunity As we age, the steps get steeper; the shadows longer ... but never give up.
